Originally these pouches were issued to the Dutch Army to contain a compass and first aid equipment, although the possibilities for storage don't stop there. You could also store fire starters, small torches, and other survival tools. The polyamide (nylon) construction is coated with polyurethane for abrasion resistance and added durability. A hook & loop strip secures the lid down and keeps the contents in place. ALICE clips on the back allow you to attach the pouch to a web belt or other equipment.
