The Rab Men’s Cinder Phantom Jacket is an ultralight rain shell designed for cycling through storms and mountain biking in the wind. Pertex Shield fabric offers phenomenal waterproof, breathability ratings, and a 3-layer construction keeps light and packable for sunny sections of the ascent. Despite its slim fit, the Cinder Phantom is surprisingly easy to move in thanks to the articulations. Rab lengthened the dropped back and added a partial elastic for snug coverage. The under-helmet hood has an ultralight stiff peak providing snug coverage, and you can pack the jacket inside the hood for compact storage.
